BIRMINGHAM: The national weightlifting squad has managed to bag Malaysia’s second gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games here.

Papua New Guinea athlete Morea Baru won the silver medal with a total weight of 273kg, while the bronze went to Gururaja Poojary from India with a weight of 269kg.


The Kedah-born weightlifter, snatched 127kg 欧冠竞彩官方, and 158kg for the clean and jerk.
Earlier today, Aniq Kasdan won the first gold medal for Malaysia with a combined total of 249kg in men’s 55kg 欧冠竞彩推荐 category.


Aznil Bidin secured the gold after he lifted a total weight of 285kg in the men’s 61kg category, setting a new national record.
